It has been a while for me to post anything on my blog. As many of you already knew I have been busy with summer. Who doesn't right?

So far, I have a very good summer. Spending time with friends, gym and training on my run have taken most of my time. I went camping two times this summer to my favorite camping spot in Virginia beach, and as always the weather was very beautiful. I took my friends Vu, Troy, and Quang on second camp trip since three of them have never been there. We had such a blast. They wanted to go again but this time with air bed..LOL..

Also, a friend of us and her husband live in Va beach also came out and joined us for a few hours on the second night at the camp. I met her at George Mason where we graduated couple of years ago and I haven't met her for a while since we departed from each other.

DC Pride Weekend

I went to DC Pride last weekend. I am a pride virgin since I've never been to one before. It was my first time been to pride and I was actually participate in the parade with the AQUA group. I like the parade on Saturday better than the festival on Sunday.

Overall, it was a pretty fun experienced, and I had a bast last weekend. Also, I wanted to take pictures with the man and horse statue and it finally came true. Did I mentioned that I like horse's butt before?

I am looking forward to my scuba diving class this weekend.

Disney Orlando

Past weekend I went to Disney gay days in Orlando. I had a such blast. It was a fun experience to be there with friends and every one had such a great time. We stayed at Royal Plaza where one of the two hotels which held the event for the weekend. There were so many hot men everywhere. The dancing at Pleasure Island clubs and Disney theme parks were very wet but fun . It was raining on Friday night when we went to Disney's Typhoon Lagoon water park, but it won't stop us from not going. It was quite fun actually.

We also got to see Kathy Griffin and Donna Summer performed at MGM on Saturday night. Donna's voice was amazing. She sang most of her well know songs. We loved her. Also, during this trip I got to meet couple of friendly friends and this sweet guy who came up and chatted with me at the park was nice too. I hope to see him around sometimes.

I can't wait to go again next year.

The last wedding of the month was finally over yesterday. In the past three weekend, I had attended 4 weddings. They were pretty fun but I am glad they were all over. I will have another two more weddings. One in July and another is not until October.

My cousin's wedding was at Williamsburg on Sunday and this morning some of us went to First Landing State Park where I usually go to camping in the summer. It was fun and I am glad that my mom, uncles, aunties, cousins, and Timothy got to visit the beach at the park.

Aunties and mom were gossiping under these umbrellas.

Out 2 Paddle got GOLD medal for the 500 race

YES, WE WON.

It feels good to receive a gold medal.

Dragon boat race 2007 was a pretty fun experienced for me and our teammates from day one. Our team was amazing, not only we placed in fourth of the best four teams on the 250 meters race on Saturday (no medals in this race but our team felt good to be in the top four), but we also won the gold medals on the 500m on Sunday.

I wanted to thank our friends for coming out and giving your support to our boat and others that could not make it but thought about us during the two days of the race as well.

P.S. It's a joke for our team but only our boat "race for the cure" and the shout out for our team was "FREE PARIS"!

The Road To Gold - Since our team did not get any medal on the first day of the race, I put together a yellow theme for "GOLD" the next day. Hopefully to bring good luck to our team. And the Gold Angel smiled upon us

Annandale H.S. Girls Lacrosse

This year the girls make it to the District Championship Final again. I remember last year they lost it to Lake Braddock H.S. It was a very good game. But this year they are going to face West Springfield H.S in the final. I am going to skip my dance class tomorrow and going to cheer for my sister, her team and my old high school. GO ATOM!

32nd Marine Corps Marathon

I am so proud of myself. I signed up for the Marine Corps Marathon at Pentagon row this morning. I am really looking forward to the training and able to run with Troy and Deon. Thank you guys for the encouragements.

I got four birds from my hairstylist last year and they produced three cutest babies this spring.

First Practice!

I went to our first meeting for the paddling practice this afternoon. It was two hours practice; time passed by so quickly when you had so much fun. My team and other teams had to show up at Anacostia Community Boathouse where they keep all the boats of any sizes. I hope this answered Tony's question regarding to where they keep all the long boats . According to its website, now there are about 60 teams signed up for the race. The more the merrier.

I had such a good fun time and I believe we will win.

Size does matter when it was time to pick the right paddle, and I was having a hard time to pick out the right one since they came in difference sizes . I seemed lost...lol

My weekend is booked in May

I just looked up my schedule in May, and it looks like that my weekends are booked. There will be four weddings, and along with that are the practices for the dragon boat race which will take place on May 19th. This year our racing team name is "Out 2 Paddle".

I am very excited and looking forward to go to my friends weddings and the race though.
